So I had this trip planned out for months to fly out to London and surprise my girlfriend Elisabeth. I called her job and secretly got her a week off of work so we could hangout. The plan was to fly in, surprise her, hang out in London for a few days, then take a train to Paris for 4 days. Everything went off perfect and while we were in Paris, I popped the question and luckily she said “YES!” Which is awesome.
I designed the ring in 3D and had my good friends Claudia Endler and her man Ren Oden hook me up with the manufacturing, polishing, diamond research and setting. Claudia does beautiful work and was able to get it finished in time for me to run off to London. If you want to see any more of her work, click here. Plugging friends is awesome. hehe.
The plane ride was not too bad, but it was on the exact opposite side of the world and took me a total of 31 hours to get there. I watched soooo many movies and read half a book. But it wasn’t bad.
Elisabeth was completely taken by surprise and I thank you to all of those who didn’t slip up and ruin it. I know I almost did like 40 times. She couldn’t believe it! Awesome.
