I move into my new place on Monday, the 27th of November. It’s a pretty sweet place only about a five minute drive to work. That same nice lady, Marilyn, who picked me up from the airport and drove me around all the next day getting my contract and other paperwork signed, bank account opened and driving lesson handled, is also in charge of getting people places to live that are starting work at Weta.

 

Marilyn knows everything about Wellington and can find you a place for you to live depending on what you like to do. Some people want to surf, some want to drink. Some people got houses on the beach, some got apartments in the city. I told her that I wanted to be fairly close to work, I didn’t need to be near any crazy clubs, I wanted to live alone in a one to two bedroom place and I wanted it to be fully furnished. Well, I got just that. Check it.
